Qualifications to Be Toughened for Foreigners to Teach Korean Language

The government plans to toughen requirements for foreigners seeking certification to teach the Korean language overseas.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said from 2011 foreign students who wish to be qualified as Korean teachers will need to achieve top scores or at least a Level 6 on the Test of Proficiency in Korean.
