Fewer Korean Students Make It to Ivy League

The intake of Korean students at eight Ivy League schools including Harvard University dwindled this year, according to admissions figures for American universities.

Daewon Foreign Language High School sent 32 students to Ivy League schools this year, down from 37 last year. The number of students from Hanyoung Foreign Language High School fell by more than half from 14 to six. No students from Gyeonggi Academy of Foreign Languages, which sent two last year, were admitted to Ivy League schools this year.
