Stricter Rules for SATs to Be Applied from May

Educational Testing Service, the U.S. company that administers the Scholastic Aptitude Test and various other English proficiency tests, has decided to toughen its test-taking rules in some Asian countries, including Korea, to counter the leakage of the SAT.

ETS announced on Sunday that test-takers in Korea, Thailand and Vietnam will not be allowed to use mobile phones or other electronic devices in testing sites from May.
