Blind Quest for High Scores

South Koreans are second to none in their enthusiasm for their children’s education. Even U.S. President Barack Obama praised Korean parents for trying to give better learning opportunities to their children, urging Americans to learn from the Asian country.

But such a zest for education has often ended up with crimes, including exam sheet leaks, manipulation of scores and employment of proxy test takers.
