Let’s Rethink Native English Vetting Plan for the Better

The recent article “Native English Teachers to Undergo Evaluation” raises grave concerns for the global reputation of Korean education, and may actually undermine language learning.

In Korea, as in most countries around the world, the question of teacher evaluation is hotly contested. From the parents’ standpoint, they simply want “good” teachers who will help their children learn well.
