More Help Planned for Expats Living in Korea

The Seoul city government announced yesterday plans aimed at helping the growing number of foreign residents here better adjust to the environment and different living circumstances.

Some 255,000 foreigners are registered as Seoul residents, and 26,000 of them arrived in the city just last year. To help them get settled, the metropolitan authority plans to provide booklets in English with detailed information on transportation, housing and culture, it said in a release.
