Hockey Night in Korea

May 26, 2009

“To most of us Canadians, hockey is our life. We’ve grown up with it; watching and playing it; and it simply is the greatest sport in the world. Like they say, it’s the fastest team game in the world,” said David Kim from the Incheon Iceholes.

The Incheon Iceholes are one of five predominantly expat ice hockey teams in Korea – although organizers are quick to say that Koreans are more than welcome to participate.

The other teams are the Geckos Glaciers (Anyang), the Seoul Chiefs (Mokdong, Seoul), the Bundang Mad dogs (Bundang), and the Daejeon-Cheongju Moose (Daejeon).
